Similar to traditional black or brown extensions, color extensions are applied with varying lengths, curls, and volumes.

Volume

Classic – one artificial eyelash is extended on each natural eyelash;

2D – double volume, 2 artificial eyelashes on one hair;
3D – triple, 3 artificial eyelashes are glued to 1 natural eyelash.

Although Hollywood with crazy volume and 4 and 5D extension techniques exist, they are hardly ever utilized for colored extensions.

Length

Similar to regular black eyelashes, artificial colored ones vary in length from 6 to 15 mm. Longer fibers are also available, but they are best suited for stage photos rather than daily wear.

M – similar to L, but even more vertically directed, while having a rounded transition from the base. Suitable for bulging eyes.

Additionally, the markings D+, C+, L+, and CC can be used by producers of colored eyelashes for extensions; they all have a better effect. For instance, L+ and L are comparable, but L+ bends closer to the eyelid.

The eyelashes cannot be wetted for the first two days – during this time the glue continues to harden;
Mechanical impact on the eyelashes cannot be exerted – pulling and rubbing, as well as sleeping with your face in the pillow;
Baths and saunas should be visited with caution, and in the first couple of days after extensions it is better to refuse them altogether;

To remove makeup and care for the skin around the eyes, it is recommended to use products that do not contain oils and aggressive alcohols – they impair adhesion.

Girls with colored extensions should take additional precautions in addition to the general maintenance guidelines mentioned above.
