IR sterilizers have the following advantages over other thermal sterilizing equipment:
- no consumables, for example, craft bags. Sterilization is carried out in a special cassette or container and does not require packaging;
- short full cycle. Processing time ranges from 1 to 10 minutes depending on the size of the instruments;
- easy to operate. This is especially important for owners of autoclaves, the use of which requires special training;
- thanks to the short cycle, sterilization can be carried out in front of the client;
- absence of water vapor and, as a result, the elimination of the likelihood of corrosion.
