A non-random meeting
When Georges Guerin, who was then the head manager of Parfums Grenoville and had extensive knowledge of the cosmetics industry, approached Prosper Allaire, he was working as the manager of the Thermal Society in the city of Vichy. His leg wound, which had not healed in a long time, was his problem. Allaire "prescribed" that the patient use water from the Lucas spring to irrigate the sore leg. Guerin was astounded by the outcome: the wound healed quickly. The effect was so profound that he was inspired to provide the general public with access to Lucas Thermal Water’s therapeutic qualities.
The source’s temperature is known to be 140 °C, and it is situated at a depth of roughly 4,000 meters beneath the surface. The water has "miraculous" qualities because it is saturated with minerals and microelements as it rises to the surface.
